Our Journey
Key milestones in our history
Sthapana (Foundation)
NBSKPK was established by a group of people dedicated to rebuilding rural economy and society. Registered under Societies Registration Act 1860. Focus on welfare — addressing poverty, illiteracy, ill-health, and migration.
Samudayik Vikas (Community Development)
Entered community-driven natural resource management, physical asset creation, and skilling of target groups on income generation activities.
Adhikar-Adharit Approach (Rights-Based)
Transitioned from charity and service provision to rights-based framework. Organization building, grassroots organizing, and institution building became central.
Sansthagat Chalak (Institutional Driver)
Moving towards sustainability through revenue models. Developed economically and socially sustainable processes. Food processing, solar energy, cooperatives, and community enterprises established.

Governance
NBSKPK is governed by a Governing Board (Sanchalak Mandal) comprising the President, Secretary, and Treasurer who oversee strategy, financial accountability, and programme direction. The organization has established sub-committees for focused governance and developed organizational policies including HR policies, financial policies, and programme management guidelines.
